Kathleen Lake
One weekend I decided to head up the Alice Lake loop to do some camping and get some great photos. Wasn't sure where I'd end up but knew I would choose from many lakes before late afternoon. This was so I could set up camp and still have plenty of time for some sunset shots.
Kathleen Lake was where I ended up and set up camp. As the sun started to go down clouds were moving in and I knew a great sunset was in the making.
I wasn't dissapointed with an amazing evening of photo opportunities presented to me. I was so impressed the next day after I caught some Trout I decided to stay the whole weekend and come back next year to visit other lakes in the loop.
The weekend was unbelievable with so many different things going on I couldn't keep up. Took some excellent photos while I was there of the landscape and even video taped a black bear foraging on the salmon berries alongside the road coming into the campsite.
The next two evenings played out better than the first with sunsets to die for. The reflections in the lake surface were just what I'd hoped for and I took many photos. This is one of the most popular ones among a few. Enjoy.
