Skaha Lake Doe And Fawn

One fall I was visiting a buddy of mine who lives on a small acreage in wine country beside Skaha Lake in the Okanagan. I decided to take my camera and tripod and hike through the grass fields of his property and happened upon a female White Tail Deer with her fawn.  There were not afraid of me which worried me a little but I took their picture and left them alone. There was also a Quail nearby who was afraid of me so I wasn't able to get a good wildlife photo of it.  It was a pretty bird though so the hike was worth the effort.
