Malispina Lake Winter

One winter's day I was out and about looking for some great snow covered landscape photography and decided to visit Malispina Lake. This is one of my favourite spots of many as the lake is nestled in the mountains and provides many great reflection compositions depending on the time of day and year.

The sun hadn't risen above the mountains yet and the sky was a deep blue which provided a great effect to the morning shadows and snow covered peaks.  The reflections in the lake were magnificent and I set up my tripod and took many different photos from different angles.

This photo stood out and has been purchased locally a few times.
