Drum Lake Springtime
Drum Lake is another one of my favorite places to shoot reflections as it is close to Gold River and in Strathcona Park. The landscape is serene and untouched by logging. The lake is shaped like a bongo drum hence its name. There is a bridge that crosses over the narrowing of the lake to access the Crest Mountain Trail which is another great spot to shoot landscape shots. This too is a popular photo for tourists coming to the area who either forgot their cameras or didn't like their own shots taken. Took this photo in early spring when the snow still dusted the hillside. The fog was rolling in due to a change in the weather.
