Black Bear Eating Salmon

Quite some time ago I used to work part time at the Conuma River Enhancement Facility on Vancouver Island between Gold River and Tahsis.  It was a very cool job where I got to work with others while we caught Chinook, Chum and Coho Salmon to spawn and fertilize the eggs for rearing at the hatchery.  I always had access to some amazing wildlife photography and this shot on the Tlupana River is of a black bear feeding on a salmon near the pool where we usually seined our brood stock for the hatchery.  It has sold a few times and has been used as stock photography also.
