Conuma Peak Mountain Photography
Conuma Peak is a high elevation mountain that mariners use for guidance when fishing offshore in Nootka Sound. The peak can be seen for miles and when you are 30 miles offshore fishing it is the only land that you'll see. It is also a popular peak for mountain climbers and mountain photographers alike. I've never climbed it but have been at the base of the mountain. I shot this landscape photo during winter to highlight the land bridge that crosses over the crevice which almost splits the peak in two. There is also a horizontal format of this image available.
