Cougar Creek Recreation Site is one of my favorite places to camp during the spring, summer and fall months when it is not too crowded.  The campground is nestled among old growth Douglas Fir and Western Cedar trees with access to the beach. Photography opportunities abound here with wildlife abundant due to the popularity of the campground during the Salmon fishing season. This wildlife photo has sold a couple of times and always gets noticed.
